Grid Engine & Performance
AG Grid 36 virtualizes rows and columns so only what is visible is rendered. Choose behavior here; the app explains the trade-off before applying it.

Higher buffer makes very fast scrolling smoother but keeps more off-screen rows rendered.
Filter response
For your current dataset, Instant or 100 ms is recommended. Longer delay reduces repeated work on very large datasets.
Task ribbon layouts
The Tasks Grid now uses saved Column View buttons instead of separate Simple / Detail / Progress Notes modes. Create exactly the layouts you need under Column Views; Kanban remains a separate workspace.

Create ribbon buttons that instantly apply a saved column order, width and visibility layout. ID and Date remain fixed and visible.

Start from the current Tasks Grid layout, then hide, resize or reorder fields below. Use the arrow buttons to move a column one position at a time.

Saved ribbon views
Move Left / Move Right changes the horizontal order of buttons in the Tasks ribbon. Copy & Edit creates a new draft from an existing view for minor changes without altering the original. All is always available.

Tune Apache ECharts and the sidebar without sacrificing responsiveness.
Sidebar on startup
Collapsed gives the table and charts the full browser width. You can always toggle with the top-left button or Ctrl+B.
Chart renderer
Canvas is recommended for speed and many data points. SVG can be sharper for print but creates more DOM/SVG nodes.
Chart animation
Disable animation if the browser or remote connection feels slow.
Chart height
Large charts show more labels but use more vertical workspace.
Chart palette
Adaptive changes automatically with Light/Dark theme. Single Accent is cleanest for reports.
Lists, labels & colors
Priority can color the whole task row. Projects, Categories, Tags, Statuses and Assignees use readable colored labels in the grid and breakdowns. Text contrast is chosen automatically.

Mass rename / merge duplicate values
Choose an existing value, then its replacement. This updates matching task records everywhere.
Data & backup
Import and export are intentionally kept here because they are occasional operations, not everyday grid actions.
Password & session
Minimum 4 characters. Changing the password immediately replaces the old password and keeps this browser signed in with a new token.
